Who is Signator?
Signator is a broker-dealer and Registered Investment Advisor that licenses financial advisors to sell financial products. If you received a letter from us, you most likely purchased a financial product (mutual fund, variable annuity, variable life policy, etc.) through one of our advisors. You may know your advisor as a John Hancock Financial Network advisor or Transamerica Financial Advisor (acquired in 2016). If you have other questions about how your advisor is affiliated with Signator, please reach out to your advisor.
I do not know who my advisor is/ I do not work with an advisor. Will my account still move?
Yes, house accounts will still move over under Royal Alliance. If you would like to work with a financial advisor, please give us a call after the account transitions to Royal Alliance (tentatively scheduled for 11/2/18, but could be after that).
Who is Advisor Group?
On June 21, 2018, Advisor Group, one of the nation's largest networks of independent financial advisory firms, announced it would be acquiring Signator Investors, Inc. (Signator) and merging it into Royal Alliance Associates, Inc., one of Advisor Group's independent firms.
